A Heavenly Country

Hebrews 11:13-16

You and I have in our minds a picture Heaven is like.

Here are some things that followers of the Lord Jesus Christ will experience.

· There is comfort in this Heavenly Country.

Luke 16:19-25, Acts 7:55, Revelation 21:4

Those who know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will experience comfort in Heaven. The Lord Himself will comfort us.

· There is compassion in this Heavenly Country.

Luke 16:19-25, Revelation 7:16-17

In Heaven, the Lord’s children will find compassion and understanding from the Lord.

· There is communion in this Heavenly Country.

Colossians 3:4, First Thessalonians 4:17, Revelation 21:3, 22:4

In Heaven the followers of Jesus Christ will have communion and fellowship with our great God and King. Our faith will become sight.

· There is completion in this Heavenly Country.

Second Corinthians 5:1, Revelation 11:15-19, 21:22-24,

In Heaven we will be made complete. Our journey on earth will be completed.

· There is comprehension in this Heavenly Country.

Revelation 4:1-11

In Heaven we will fully comprehend and understand many things, most importantly we will gain a further and greater comprehension of our God and Savior. The fog and haze of sin will be gone and our vision restored.

· There is compensation in this Heavenly Country.

Matthew 25:34, John 14:1-6, First Peter 1:4, Revelation 19:7-9, 21:7

In Heaven our God will reward us for our faithful work for Christ. There shall be no more tears and no more sorrows. Praise, joy and gladness will fill our hearts.
